Services

Three ways I can help your shop.

Pick one, or mix them. Every project starts with a short chat and a written proposal. I only promise what I can deliver.

01

Website Design & Improvement

The problem it solves

Your website looks dated, is awkward on a phone, or makes it harder than it should be for people to find a product, trust the shop or get in touch.

Who it is for

Independent concept stores, perfume and beauty retailers, gift shops, florists, home and lifestyle brands, and small e-commerce businesses, in any country.

What you receive

A new or improved website with a clear structure, a consistent visual identity, and a layout that works on mobile, tablet and desktop.

Deliverables

  • Site structure and page plan
  • Responsive design for all screen sizes
  • Product, category and content pages
  • Basic SEO setup: titles, descriptions, clean structure
  • Working contact or inquiry form
  • Handover guide to update content yourself

Tell me about your shop and what you would like to change. You receive a written proposal.

02

AI Shopping Assistants

The problem it solves

Visitors who are unsure what to choose (a gift, a fragrance, a style) leave without asking, while you answer the same questions again and again.

Who it is for

Shops where advice matters: gift shops, perfumeries, concept stores and any catalogue where a good recommendation helps people decide.

What you receive

A guided assistant on your site that asks a few simple questions and suggests products from your own catalogue, with a short reason for each suggestion.

Deliverables

  • Question flow designed around how your customers choose
  • Recommendation logic based on your real catalogue
  • Interface that matches your brand and site
  • Test cases to check suggestions before launch
  • Clear notes on what data is, and is not, collected
  • Hand-off to you for questions it cannot answer

Start with a prototype built on a handful of your products, and judge the idea before committing. See how it works or try the demos.

Business Automations

The problem it solves

Time goes into repetitive admin: copying details between tools, replying to the same inquiries, or checking inboxes and spreadsheets by hand.

Who it is for

Small teams and owner-run shops that already use tools such as email, spreadsheets or an online store and want them to work together.

What you receive

One or more small, reliable workflows connecting the tools you already use, documented so you understand what runs and why.

Deliverables

  • Short review of the task and what it involves
  • Setup and testing of the workflow
  • Notification or fallback if something fails
  • Plain-language documentation

Examples: forwarding website inquiries to a spreadsheet and your inbox, or sending a notification when a new order arrives. The right scope depends on your tools.

Describe the task that takes up your time. You get an honest answer on whether it is worth automating.

Pricing: every project is quoted individually after a first conversation. No results are guaranteed in advance. The goal is a clearly scoped piece of work that you can see and test before you rely on it.

How a shopping assistant works

From a question to the right product, in four steps.

No black box. The assistant only recommends what your shop actually sells, and it is open about what happens to the visitor’s answers.

  1. The customer asks

A visitor opens “Help me choose” and answers a few simple questions, or describes what they need in their own words.

“A housewarming gift for a friend who loves plants, under €60.”

  2. It understands the need

The answers become clear criteria: who it is for, the occasion, the budget, the taste. If something is missing, it asks one short follow-up.

    For: a friend · Housewarming · Up to €60 · Plants

  3. It recommends from your catalogue

Criteria are matched against your own products, prices and stock, with a one-line reason for each suggestion. It never invents a product.

Terrazzo Plant Pot · €39: “fits a housewarming, and they love plants.”

  4. It is transparent about data

Visitors know they are using an assistant. You decide what is stored, if anything, and which AI provider is used, if any. Anything it cannot answer goes to you.

No account needed · No personal data required · Hand-off to a person

Some assistants run on simple, explainable rules (like the demos on this site). Others use an AI language model. The right option depends on your catalogue and budget, and is explained in the proposal.

How long does a project take?

It depends on the scope, and you get a written timeline before any work starts. As a rough guide, a focused improvement or an assistant prototype built on a handful of your products takes a few weeks. A complete new online store takes longer.

What is included?

Everything listed in the written proposal: design, build, testing on phone, tablet and desktop, basic SEO setup and a handover guide. Nothing outside the proposal is charged without your agreement first.

How much does it cost?

Every project is quoted individually after a first conversation, because a three-page site and a full online store are very different jobs. The contact form has an optional budget range to help size the proposal.

What about data and GDPR?

Studio Émeraude is based in Belgium and works under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In practice: collect only what is needed, document what is stored and where, prefer EU hosting where possible, and tell visitors clearly when they are using an assistant.

If an AI provider is used, you are told which one, what is sent to it, and what the alternatives are. The demos on this site collect nothing.

Which platforms and tools do you work with?

Websites can be built new or improved on the platform you already use, such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Squarespace or Wix, or built as a custom site. A shopping assistant is added to your existing site as an embedded component. Automations connect tools such as email, spreadsheets, forms and your online store. Compatibility with your exact setup is checked before you receive a quote.

Is maintenance available after launch?

Yes, as an option agreed separately. Every project comes with documentation so you can update content yourself. Maintenance covers updates, small changes and regular checks if you would rather not handle them.

I’m not in Belgium. Can you still work with me?

Yes. All work is done remotely, in English, French or Dutch. Calls take place by video at a time that suits your time zone, and every decision is confirmed in writing by email.

Who owns the website?

You do. The domain, content, design files and accounts are set up in your name, or transferred to you at the end of the project.
